Ora (oraapp.com) is an event ticketing and marketing platform for the US market, positioned as a modern alternative to Eventbrite. Across eight role-based portals, organizers list events and sell tickets with Stripe-powered checkout, QR check-in, payouts, and marketing tools, while attendees buy, hold, and transfer tickets. Tecaudex's role was delivering Tap to Pay on iPhone — contactless card acceptance at the door with no extra hardware — and taking it through Apple's publishing-entitlement review to launch on the live App Store app.

About the Client

Ora is a fast-growing event-tech company based in Austin, Texas, founded by Bernardo De La Vega. It runs a ticketing and event-marketing platform as merchant of record, competing directly with Eventbrite.

Organizers needed to accept card payments at the door on an iPhone without buying extra POS hardware, but the app's Tap to Pay was blocked by Apple's entitlement rules. The goal was to make door card-acceptance work reliably and pass Apple's publishing review so it could ship to real events.
